What’s New in Sicura Console 2025.5.0

The 2025.5.0 release of Sicura Console includes significant changes to both the architecture and user experience.

Major Changes

Completely Rewritten Frontend Web Application

The Sicura Console frontend has been completely rewritten, providing a modern and more intuitive user interface. The new interface offers:

• Modern, responsive design optimized for all device sizes
• Improved navigation and workflow organization
• Enhanced visualization of compliance data and metrics
• Streamlined configuration workflows
• Better performance and reduced load times
• Improved accessibility features

Container-Only Distribution

Starting with the 2025.5.0 release, Sicura Console is distributed exclusively as a container image:

• RPM-based installations are no longer supported
• The container image is available at registry.customers.sicura.us/products/sicura-console:2025.5.0 or registry.customers.sicura.us/products/sicura-console:latest
• All functionality is available in the container-based installation
• Migration instructions for existing RPM installations are available in the upgrade guide

Updated Deployment Options

The documentation has been updated to reflect the new deployment options:

• Container Installation: Details on basic container deployment
• Deployment with SSL: Reference deployment with Nginx for SSL termination
• Running Console: Instructions for various container runtime options

Migration Notes

If you’re upgrading from a previous version, please note:

1. If you’re using an RPM-based installation, you’ll need to migrate to the container-based installation
2. A fresh database is required - data migration from RPM installations is not currently supported
3. You will need to create new configuration files based on your existing settings
4. You will need to re-register all agents and reconfigure your compliance profiles
